6) Erste Diagnosen anhand einfacher pathologischer Fallbeispiele:

1. Fall: Adult man, 54-years-old, with a bruit near the carotid bifurcation at the left side. The patient had a cerebral infarction a few weeks ago.

2. Fall:Adult man, 63-years-old, admitted with pain in the left leg. Physical examination reveals gangrene at the left foot


3. Fall: Adult man, 51-years-old, obesity, smoker, recent MI. intermittent and continuous abdominal pain - radiating to the back, iliac fossae and groins.

4. Fall: Adult woman, 34-years-old, road traffic accident. Via ultrasound free fluid was detected.

5. Fall: Adult man, 23-years-old, admitted with pain in the right leg. Physical examination reveals a pale, pulseless, paralysed leg. This is the third embolism in one year. The patient is in sinus rhythm

6. Fall: Adult man, 66-years-old, - alcohol abuse, cirrhosis and hepatitis-B infection. Weight loss.

7. Fall: Adult woman, 76-years-old, p.a. bleeding. The cause for this bleeding wasn`t detected by coloscopy

8. Fall: Adult man, 56-years-old, haematuria and varicocele at the right side.

9. Fall: Adult woman, 43-years-old, admitted with cough, dyspnoe, tachypnoe, cyanosis and shock. Patient suffers from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) since 10 years. Thoracotomy several years ago.
